You Can’t Win Em’ All

After last weeks incredible and jaw-dropping finish, the Cardinals loss tonight to the Seattle Seahawks was anti-climactic to say the least. Kyler getting sacked not only stabbed me in the heart (I had Arizona +3 and the over which both missed) but it also was just kind of a lame way to end the game. And honestly, not to toot my horn and claim TNF sucks, but tonight’s game was kind of boring.
I think the only reason I and all my friends thought it was boring was because this game was hyped to be the Primetime Game Of The Season! And it just wasn’t. There were no spectacular plays, no unforgettable moments. The game overall enjoyable, but I don’t know—I felt a bit let down. I excepted a shoutout of Chiefs/Rams 2019 proportions. I didn’t expect there to be 4 consecutive 3-and-outs.
With this matchup? The fu—?
In my opinion, this weeks TNF was just a waste of potential. Two great offensive playing against two bad defenses. That’s like every football fan’s fantasy. Shit, when I saw the matchup I almost creamed my pants like it was American Pie. And to sit through that whole game where the most exciting play was...honestly, I can’t remember any exciting play.
Fuck that. Fuck the Cards. Fuck the hype. Goddamn pieces of shit lost me 2 units. At the end of the day, I think this game exposed both teams for being a little too much hype. I mean, the Seahawks have the worst defense in the league and Arizona could only put up 21?
That’s some weak shit. Like Christian Bale in The Machinist type of weak shit.
